It's sometimes said that the 'best' final fantasy game is the one you played first. While I love all Final Fantasy games from I - XV in different ways, VI will always be one of my all time favourite games. While I was quite late to the FFVI party, having started with FFVII followed by VIII, the story and characters resonated most with me. Nobuo Uematsu's incredible music is another key element which I found most memorable. The name of this album summarises the ending of this game. Moreover, the piece of music to which the name of this album is based, signifies the end of a glorious journey for our 14 heroes!
While the possibility of an FFVI Remake is probably very slim, this is my take on what an orchestrated version of the OST might sound like ~ Balance Is Restored.
